I was born in 1974. I’ve since married and had 5 children mostly all homebirthed and all homeschooled. I’m an inch taller than my husband at 5′10 and my weight is far too variable to even bother to post here, anywhere from 130-140. My hair is somewhere in the blond to brown range and my eyes are blue. I am legally blind in my left eye due to amblyopia treated unsuccessfully with two surgeries in childhood. I have big feet and a big nose.
I lived in Oklahoma for the first 26 years of my life, 19 years of them in the same house. I have 3 brothers, 2 living, and one sister. I’m the youngest by 11 years. I’m older than my oldest niece but not by much.
I loathed school from about seventh grade on, and dropped out as soon as I could. I returned to school when I entered college and it was ok.
And a few random facts: I can juggle. I put both my socks on, then both my shoes, on the rare occasions I wear socks. I was the youngest assistant manager in the Oklahoma City B. Dalton Bookseller district, at 17. I learned to drive when I was 20 and still cannot drive a stick shift. I am mildly allergic to onion and banana. I used to be in the SCA. I quit smoking a long time ago and yet I still miss them sometimes. Before I converted to Catholicism, I was agnostic, and before that I was a pagan. I take lots of milk and a little sugar in my coffee and my favorite color is blue.
Some of my areas of interest and expertise are:
homebirthing, breastfeeding, circumcision, instinctive parenting, homeschooling (particularly unschooling), knitting, cloth diapering, tie-dyeing, Discworld, and the Tridentine Latin Mass.
