I gained a lot this pregnancy!
My goal is around 130-135 which was my pre-Gil weight. I’m not going to diet at all, just eat healthy. Altho I will be using the Tandem Nursing Diet I guess.

You will be sucked dry by a leech. I’d stay away from swimming holes, and stick to good old cement. Even if it does hurt like hell when your toe scrapes the bottom.

nak
gil at the breast all day!
this boy is gonna be huge! nurse and nurse and nurse, then he seems to be dozy, sleeeeeepy, then thirty seconds after I gently unlatch him he’s awake, vocalizing and rooting, madly attempting to eat his fists. so back on he goes.
I’m definitely catching up on all my reading….
sweet little kitten boy.
bede wanting to nurse pretty much whenever he notices gil so I’m just a milk-makin’ queen today. the girls have been playing some elaborate make-believe on the sofa and endtables today with basically every stuffed animal and doll that they own. with drawings, sheet/pillow castles and pretend apple pies. they seem very happy. bede has been alternating his time between his faux magnadoodle, his nursies and his maisy books.
so, all told, it’s a nice cozy fall day. i think i’ll make potato-onion soup for dinner, it’s just the sort of day for it.

Mass grave of women and children in Iraq
Article about the evidence for Saddam’s trial.
“Among the dead are pregnant women, even a young boy still clutching his ball, whose bodies were ploughed into their earthen tombs by bulldozers.”

You are Merino Wool.
You are very easygoing and sweet. People like to keep you close because you are so softhearted. You love to be comfortable and warm from your head to your toes.

Stopping Epidural In Labor Conveys No Benefit
Sure, sure, great. Pity it’s untrue. The article says:
Compared with continuous use of epidural drugs, discontinuing such medications during labor did not dramatically reduce the need for forceps delivery or other types of “instrumental” delivery, the authors note. Moreover, this practice did not reduce the risk of fetal positioning problems or improve the baby’s appearance at birth.
Notice it says “did not dramatically reduce”. It does in fact reduce it.
But here’s the really important part of the study:
In contrast, stopping the epidural drugs early did seem to increase pain.
Uhm, duh?

A fluffy entry:
Telescope game
And I see that Bjork has a new album out (well, new in August), don’t tell DH. He has a thing for petite elfin brunettes. Notice I am neither petite nor brunette, but a guy can dream, I guess:
